Egypt's Mohd Ali Anwar Reda is one match away from his third successive PSA Tour final in Kuala Lumpur this month after coming through today's quarter-finals of the NSC Super Satellite No1 at the National Squash Centre in Bukit Jalil in the Malaysian capital.
Second seed Reda beat Malaysia's Elvinn Keo 11-4, 11-3, 2-11, 11-2 and will now face another local player Mohd Nafiizwan Adnan in a repeat of the NSC Satellite No2 final.
Fifth seed Adnan defeated Malaysian qualifier Muhd Asyraf Azan 11-9, 10-11 (0-2), 8-11, 11-8, 11-5 in a 72-minute marathon.
The other men's semi-final will be an all-Dutch affair between top seed Dylan Bennett and third seed Tom Hoevenaars.
The women's quarter-finals went according to the seedings - with fourth seed Delia Arnold setting up an all-Malaysian semi-final against favourite Sharon Wee after despatching Japan's Mami Nishio 9-7, 9-0, 9-2 in just 22 minutes.
