Top Seeds Make Super Satellite Finals

The top two seeds will contest both the men's and women's finals in the NSC Super Satellite No1 after prevailing in today's semi-finals at the National Squash Centre in Bukit Jalil in the Malaysian capital Kuala Lumpur.

Egypt's No2 seed Mohd Ali Anwar Reda secured his third successive PSA Tour final berth in KL this month after overcoming local player Mohd Nafiizwan Adnan, the fifth seed, 11-6, 11-7, 9-11, 11-10 (6-4) in an 84-minute marathon.

His opponent Dylan Bennett had a much easier run through to the seventh PSA Tour final of his career. The favourite from Eindhoven beat his third-seeded Netherlands compatriot Tom Hoevenaars 11-7, 11-9, 11-7 in just 37 minutes.

There were contrasting semi-finals in the women's WISPA World Tour event: Top seed Sharon Wee was taken the full distance by fellow Malaysian Delia Arnold before beating the fourth seed 9-3, 9-5, 2-9, 0-9, 9-2 in 58 minutes.

Denmark's No2 seed Line Hansen faced Margriet Huisman - but was able to despatch the third seed from the Netherlands in four games, winning 4-9, 9-4, 9-6, 9-7 in 47 minutes to reach the fifth Tour title of her career.
