6 Apr 2008

Pakistan's Aamir Atlas Khan defeated fellow teenager Yasir Butt in straight games in the final of the COAS International to become the youngest winner of the $25,000 PSA Tour squash event at the Mushaf Squash Complex in the Pakistan capital Islamabad.

The 17-year-old fourth seed from Peshawar, who made his breakthrough in the previous round when he upset England's second seed Jonathan Kemp, fought back from behind in all three games before overcoming Butt, the 19-year-old No8 seed from Lahore, 11-9, 11-10 (2-0), 11-9.

The triumph, in his fourth PSA Tour final, takes Khan's title tally to two - following the CAS International trophy success he achieved last August, also in Islamabad.

Final:
[4] Aamir Atlas Khan (PAK) bt [8] Yasir Butt (PAK) 11-9, 11-10 (2-0), 11-9 (38m)
