Rosner Repeats Giant-Killing Run In Calgary

German teenager Simon Rosner continued his giant-killing run in Canada when he caused one of two upsets in the first round of the Talisman Energy Bankers Hall Club Open at the Bankers Hall Club in Calgary.

The 18-year-old qualifier, who last week reached the semi-finals of the Evergreen Open in Vancouver as a qualifier, fought back from two games down to defeat Pakistan's seventh seed Khawaja Adil Maqbool 7-11 6-11 11-8 11-4 11-5.

Bermuda's fourth seed Nicholas Kyme was a straight games casualty in the $15,000 PSA Tour event, losing 11-5 11-2 11-2 to unseeded Australian Aaron Frankcomb.
