Perrin Kicks Butt In Buenos Aires

France's Yann Perrin became the only qualifier to survive the first round of the Tortugas Open in Buenos Aires when he upset Canada's fifth seed Sabir Butt in the first PSA Tour squash event in Argentina for more than four years.

Perrin, a 20-year-old from Marseille who is in his first year on the PSA Tour, beat Butt 11-6 11-6 11-2 in 15 minutes to set up a quarter-final meeting with top seed Eric Galvez. The Mexican reached the last eight in even quicker time - beating Argentina qualifier Rodrigo Pezzota 11-10 11-2 11-5 in 13 just minutes.
