Top Seeds Make Victorian Final

7 Jul 2012

The top two seeds Mohd Nafiizwan Adnan and Campbell Grayson will contest the final of the Victorian Open after dismissing surprise opponents in today's semi-finals of the PSA World Tour Challenger 10 squash event at the Melbourne Sports & Aquatic Centre in Melbourne, Australia.

Adnan, the favourite from Malaysia, downed seventh seed Aqeel Rehman of Austria 11-7, 11-5, 9-11, 11-4 to reach the 15th PSA Tour final of his career - and his second this year.

Grayson despatched fellow Kiwi Kashif Shuja 11-6, 11-4, 11-2 to make the seventh Tour final of his career - but his first for more than a year.

The clash will mark the pair's fifth Tour meeting since 2005 - with the head-to-heads poised at two wins apiece.

The final will be streamed live on www.squashvic.com.au/calendar/index.cfm?fuseaction=Event&EventID=18875
