Salazar Twins Burst Through In Bogotá

Mexican twins Arturo Salazar and Cesar Salazar claimed unexpected places in the main draw of the Bogotá Tennis Club Circuito Mundial De Squash after victories over higher-ranked opponents in the qualifying finals of the new 2-star PSA Tour event at Bogotá Tennis Club in the Colombian capital Bogotá.

Arturo, 19, upset France's Yann Perrin - ranked more than 100 places higher in the world list - 4-11, 11-8, 11-10 (2-0), 11-8, and will now face Canada's No4 seed Shawn Delierre in the first round.

Cesar despatched Argentina's Roberto Pezzota 11-7, 11-3, 3-11, 11-7 and will now meet fellow Mexican Eric Galvez, the Pan American Games champion, in the main draw.

Spaniard Borja Golan, who reached the final of last week's Club El Nogal Colombian Open in the city, is top seed in the event and will open his Bogotá Tennis Club campaign against Colombian Juan Pablo Gaviria.
