Teran & Khan In Southport Final

Top seeds Samantha Teran and Latasha Khan will meet in the final of the Women's Gannon Southport Open after semi-final victories in the WISPA World Tour event in its fifth year at in Southport, USA.

Teran, the favourite from Mexico, maintained her straight games run in the event with a 9-2, 9-4, 9-6 win over Australia's sixth seed Donna Urquhart.

Second seed Latasha Khan, the seven-times US national champion from Seattle, needed four games to overcome Amelia Pittock - beating the third seed from Australia 9-2, 9-1, 7-9, 9-7.

Khan is celebrating her fifth appearance in a WISPA Tour final - her first for more than a year - while 25-year-old Teran is marking up her seventh, and looking for her sixth win.
