Brown & Stoehr To Contest Mayfair Lakeshore Final

Top seed Kasey Brown and third seed Isabelle Stoehr will contest the final of the Women's Mayfair Lakeshore Open after straight games wins in the semi-finals of the new WISPA World Tour event at the Mayfair Lakeshore Racquet & Fitness Club in Toronto.

Stoehr, the third seed from France, ended the brave run of local heroine Carolyn Russell - beating the 32-year-old from Vancouver, who was the only unseeded player to reach the semi-finals, 9-3, 9-1, 9-1.

While the 27-year-old is celebrating her 10th WISPA Tour final appearance, Brown is marking up her 11th. The 21-year-old from Queensland in Australia beat Mexico's fourth seed Samantha Teran 9-5, 9-5, 9-2.
