Khan Canters To Canadian Success

US squash star Latasha Khan recorded her fourth WISPA World Tour title success of the year when she beat England's Emma Beddoes in the final of the Women's Meadowood Pharmacy Open, the $11,100 WISPA event at Winnipeg Winter Club in Winnipeg, Canada.

Beddoes, the second seed from Nottingham, reached the final after dismissing local player Alana Miller, the fourth seed and tournament organiser from Winnipeg.

But favourite Khan, the seven-time US champion from Seattle, was too strong for Beddoes in the final, winning 11-7, 11-2, 6-11, 11-9 to notch up the sixth title of her career.
