Galifi Powers Into Third Final

France's Stephane Galifi powered into his third PSA Tour final in two months when he upset England's fourth seed Stacey Ross in the semi-finals of the Ciutat de Barcelona Open in Barcelona.

Galifi, the sixth seed from Rouen, beat Ross 11-5 11-7 11-4 and will now face Egypt's Mohamed Essam A Hafiz, the event favourite, in the final.

Hafiz, 27, from Cairo, was taken to four games - including tie-breaks in two - before overcoming England's fifth seed Scott Handley 11-6 10-11 11-10 11-8 in the other semi-final.
