Rosner Battles Into Vancouver Semis

Germany's 18-year-old Simon Rosner continued his fine run in the North Shore Credit Union/Comfort Inn Open when he dismissed fellow qualifier Paul Davis to reserve his place in the semi-finals of the PSA Tour event at Evergreen Squash Club in Vancouver, Canada.

Rosner's 11-10 11-4 11-4 win over the Australian takes him through to a meeting with France's top seed Renan Lavigne, who took almost an hour to overcome Australia's eighth seed Bradley Hindle 11-9 11-10 11-7.

The other semi-final will pitch England's second seed Joey Barrington against fifth-seeded Mexican Eric Galvez. Barrington beat unseeded Colombian Bernardo Samper 11-4 11-7 11-8, while Galvez defeated Egypt's Amr Mansi 11-8 11-9 11-7.
