Rosner Rallies Into Evergreen Main Draw In Vancouver

Germany's Simon Rosner survived a marathon 80-minute qualifying final clash against France's Julien Balbo to earn a place in the main draw of the North Shore Credit Union/Comfort Inn Open at Evergreen Squash Club in Vancouver, Canada.

The 18-year-old won 9-11 11-8 11-10 11-9 to set up a first round meeting with fourth seed Matthew Giuffre, the highest-seeded Canadian in this $15,000 PSA Tour event formerly known as the Evergreen Open.

Rosner is joined in the first round by fellow qualifiers Omar Mosaad, from Egypt, and Tony James and Paul Davis, both from Australia.
