Badr Bags Brixia Booty

Sweden's number one squash player Badr Abdel Aziz is celebrating his maiden title success on the PSA Tour after beating Germany's Patrick Gaessler in the final of the Brixia Open in Brescia, Italy.

The 25-year-old from Stockholm swept to an 11-2 11-8 11-1 victory over Gaessler, a 21-year-old qualifier from Stuttgart, in just 21 minutes to record his historic win.

It was only in January this year that Aziz reached his first PSA final, upsetting three seeds on his way to the climax of the Rocafort Open in Spain as a qualifier.
