16 Nov 2005

England's Jonathan Kemp ended local hero Amjad Khan's run in the CNS International after beating the Pakistani qualifier 11-8 10-11 11-5 11-2 in the final of the $25,000 PSA Tour event at the Jahangir Khan Squash Complex in Karachi.

Khan, a former Pakistan Open champion fighting his way back to full fitness after a series of injuries which thwarted his international career three years ago, was celebrating his first appearance in a PSA final for more than five years.

But the 25-year-old from Peshawar was unable to stop Kemp, the 24-year-old third seed from Telford, winning his second PSA title of the year.

Final:
[3] Jonathan Kemp (ENG) bt [Q] Amjad Khan (PAK) 11-8, 10-11 (0-2), 11-5, 11-2 (22m)
