Borja Battles To Pilley Win At Bluenose Classic

Third seed Borja Golan secured his anticipated place in the semi-finals of the Bluenose Classic - but the Spaniard had to battle for 108 minutes against Australian Cameron Pilley before winning his quarter-final clash in the $40,000 PSA Tour squash event in Halifax, Nova Scotia, in Canada.

Winner of the Motor City Open in Detroit last week, Golan came from 2/1 down to beat fifth seed Pilley 13-11, 7-11, 4-11, 11-2, 13-11.

The 26-year-old from Santiago will now meet another Australian for a place in the final. David Palmer, the top seed, took just 19 minutes to overcome the event's lone Canadian Shawn Delierre 11-3, 11-3, 11-3.
