Clarke & Delierre Set Up Local Showdown In Ottawa

Robin Clarke and Shawn Delierre survived their first round matches in the Goodlife Open to set up an all-Canadian quarter-final clash in 1-star PSA Tour squash event at the Goodlife Fitness Club in Ottawa, Canada.

Clarke, the sixth seed from Ottawa, beat Canadian qualifier Daniel Sibley 11-8, 11-2, 11-10 (2-0), while Delierre, the second seed, defeated English qualifier Chris Truswell 11-9, 4-11, 11-5, 11-6.

"All the seeds easily advanced to the quarter final stage - which sets the stage for the much-anticipated showdown between local favourite Robin Clarke & Shawn Delierre, from nearby Montreal, in the quarter finals," said tournament organiser Heather Wallace.
