Golan Takes CAS Crown In Islamabad

Top seed Borja Golan recovered from a game down to beat local hero Mansoor Zaman in the final of the CAS Squash International to become the first Spaniard to win the established $25,000 PSA Tour event in Islamabad, Pakistan.

The 23-year-old from Santiago DC was 2/1 up in games, and two points clear in the fourth game, when Zaman retired with an injury after 46 minutes with the score standing at 9-11, 11-8, 11-8, 2-0.

The success marks the 13th PSA Tour title for Golan - and leaves Zaman with the record of having reached the CAS final five times since 1998, with only one win!
