Giuffre Keeps Calgary Title In Canada

Matthew Giuffre fulfilled his status as top seed at the Talisman Energy Bankers Hall Club Open by winning the PSA Tour title in Calgary to keep the trophy in Canada.

The 23-year-old from Edmonton beat Brazil's Rafael F Alarcon, the third seed from Sao Paulo, 11-7 6-11 11-7 11-9 in the final at the Bankers Hall Club.

The triumph marked Giuffre's second PSA title - the first also claimed in his home country when he won the MAA Invitational in Quebec in November 2002.
