PSA Breakthrough For Delasaux In New Zealand

England's Laurence Delasaux claimed his maiden PSA Tour title in impressive style in New Zealand after beating Australia's Scott Arnold in the final of the North Island Championship in Hamilton.

The 20-year-old from Hull in Yorkshire, who became European Junior Champion in 2004, made his breakthrough in Hamilton when he fought back from a game down to upset local hero Callum O'Brien, the event favourite, in the semi-finals.

In the final, sixth-seeded Delasaux again had to come from behind before triumphing 10-11 11-6 11-1 11-7 over his Australian opponent, the ninth seed.
