Canada's Giuffre Into Winnipeg Final

Matthew Giuffre is one step away from becoming the second successive Canadian winner of the ADL Optical/Rodenstock Manitoba Open after stopping Switzerland's unseeded Lars Harms in the semi-finals in Winnipeg.
A losing semi-finalist last year, fourth seed Giuffre fought for 60 minutes to overcome Harms 11-9 6-11 11-5 11-6 to reach the final for the first time.
The 22-year-old from Edmonton will meet second seed Cameron Pilley in the final after the Australian defeated France's third seed Stephane Galifi 11-6 11-5 11-9 in 45 minutes.
