Baltazar Ferreira Wins Saskatchewan Open

The top two seeds contested the final of the Saskatchewan Open - but it was Mexican favourite Jorge Isaac Baltazar Ferreira that prevailed to win the PSA Tour Super Satellite event at Regina Court & Fitness Club in Regina, Canada

The 25-year-old defending champion from Mexico City dropped just one game en-route to his eighth Tour final - to sixth-seeded compatriot Jose Angel Becerril in the semi-finals.

But in the clash with Bradley Hindle, the second seed from Australia in his fourth PSA final, Baltazar Ferreira needed 50 minutes to see off his opponent 11-8, 11-8, 11-9.

The triumph marks the Mexican's fifth PSA Tour title success.
