PSA Launch PSALIVE Tournament Packages
24 Oct 2007
Responding to popular demand from their members, the webcast channel PSALIVE.TV will offer tournament packages for three forthcoming major Professional Squash Association (PSA) Tour events - the Saudi International, which got underway this week; the Cathay Pacific Hong Kong Open, and the Endurance World Open Bermuda 2007, both in November.
For only £25, squash fans from around the world will be able to watch every single match from the tournament LIVE and also download and own replays of all matches in all formats produced.
For those members only interested in the quarter-finals onwards, then a package is available for only £10 which offers the same deal for just the later stages of the tournament.
"We have worked very hard over the past year and listened to comments in many areas of our production and delivery," said Adrian Battersby, Technical Director at Horizon. "Offering tournament packages was something that a lot of people had emailed us about directly and with the Tournaments in Saudi Arabia and Hong Kong always being very popular in Europe and North America, we felt this was a good time to trial this offering. If it proves to be popular then we will look to extend it further."
Existing Individual match purchases will be available as normal throughout.
An extra bonus from Saudi Arabia, for those on a good internet connection, is that PSALIVE will be webcasting two channels from Al Khobar: A standard hires version at 235kbps will be broadcast, but a higher resolution version at 450kbps will also be broadcast live and be available for replays. A live free audio feed will be available from both the official website at www.atcosquash.com and www.psalive.tv as well.
