Welshman Gavin Jones, the fifth seed, engineered his second successive upset in the Grant Thornton Atlanta Open to reach the final of the PSA Tour event in Atlanta, USA - where he will face fourth-seeded Frenchman Stephane Galifi.
After despatching second-seeded Spaniard Borja Golan in a five-game quarter-final encounter, Jones took just three games to overcome England's third seed Alister Walker 11-8 11-9 11-9. The world No42 from Maesteg is celebrating his second PSA final appearance in less than a month - and looking for his first Tour title.
In the other semi-final, Galifi brushed aside Canada's sixth seed Matthew Giuffre 11-3 11-4 11-3. The 26-year-old world No46 from Rouen, winner of two PSA titles in Australia last August, is appearing in his sixth Tour final.
