Adnan Stops Sandhu In KL Satellite

Egypt's top seed Mohd Ali Anwar Reda will face third seed Nafzahizam Adnan in the final of the NSC Satellite No3 at the National Squash Centre in Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur, just a week after meeting the Malaysian's brother Mohd Nafiizwan Adnan in the final of the No2 Satellite event.

Reda survived two tie-break games to beat England's No4 seed Neil Hitchens 11-10 (4-2), 11-7, 8-11, 11-10 (2-0) in 47 minutes, while the older Adnan brother ended Harinder Pal Sandhu's brave run when he overcame the unseeded Indian 5-11, 11-8, 11-9, 11-5.

Reda, 18, from Cairo, is celebrating his fourth PSA Tour final appearance while 22-year-old Adnan, from KL, is marking his second.

There will be a surprise all-Malaysian final in the women's WISPA World Tour event when fourth seed Lim Yoke Wah takes on Delia Arnold, the third seed. Lim Yoke Wah dashed Annie Au's hopes of a third successive KL Satellite final appearance when she beat the fifth seed from Hong Kong 9-7, 9-3, 9-4 to reach her maiden Tour final.

In the other semi-final, Arnold delighted the local crowd when she upset second seed Margriet Huisman, from the Netherlands, 9-0, 9-6, 9-6 in 58 minutes to secure her third WISPA final appearance.
