Castagnet Beats Butt In PSA Debut

Appearing in his first PSA Tour event, France's Mathieu Castagnet beat Canada's experienced Sabir Butt 9-11 11-9 11-3 11-4 in 55 minutes to earn a place in the qualifying finals of the Colombian Open in the Colombian capital Bogotá.

The 18-year-old from Le Mans now faces Dutchman Dylan Bennett for a place in the first round of the $20,000 event in which fellow Frenchman Renan Lavigne is seeded to retain the title he won last year.
