Zac & Wee Wern Win Maiden Tour Titles In Kuala Lumpur

Local player Low Wee Wern and Australian Zac Alexander celebrated their maiden Tour title triumphs after contrasting successes in today's finals of the NSC Satellite No3 at the Bukit Jalil National Squash Centre in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Eighth seed Alexander made his breakthrough in the quarter-finals of the men's event where he dismissed Nafzahizam Adnan, the favourite from Malaysia.
In the final - his first on the PSA Tour - the 19-year-old from Brisbane claimed his third successive upset in the event, twice coming from behind to beat sixth-seeded Malaysian Elvinn Keo 10-11 (0-2), 11-5, 8-11, 11-9, 11-8.
The women's event climaxed in an all-Malaysian final, with third seed Low Wee Wern following a straight games semi-final upset over Australian favourite Lisa Camilleri to face second seed Siti Munirah Jusoh.
The 17-year-old from Penang was in sparkling form, despatching Jusoh 9-1, 10-8, 9-0 in just 32 minutes.
