Corren & Swartz Celebrate Super Satellite Successes

South African Tenille Swartz and Mike Corren of Australia celebrated hard-fought successes in today's finals of the NSC Super Satellite No1 at the National Squash Centre at Bukit Jalil in the Malaysian capital Kuala Lumpur.

Corren, the KL-based top seed who celebrated his 34th birthday this week, battled for 65 minutes in the final to overcome New Zealander Campbell Grayson, the fifth seed, 11-7, 11-7, 10-11 (3-5), 11-7 to earn the 17th PSA Tour title of his career.

Making her first appearance on the WISPA World Tour this year, second seed Tenille Swartz survived tough tussles in the quarters and semis before lining up to face top-seeded local favourite Sharon Wee, the world No21, in the final.

But the 20-year-old world No30, in only her second Tour final, romped to a 9-0, 5-9, 9-2, 9-1 victory in 31 minutes to maintain her 100% record in WISPA finals.
