Jackman Gambling On Hat-Trick In Monte Carlo

England's world No2 Cassie Jackman returns to the scene of her triumphs in 1999 and 2001 in a bid to win her third title in the Women's Monte Carlo Classic in Monaco.

In her last event before competing in the Harris British Open in Nottingham later in the month, the top seed from Norfolk takes on compatriot Rebecca Botwright in the Monte Carlo first round. The former world champion is expected to meet England team-mate Fiona Geaves, the No2 seed, in the final on Saturday.

Geaves, the world No7 from Gloucester, takes on Spanish qualifier Olga Puigdemont Sola in the first round. Sola defeated England's Jenna Gates 9-4 9-7 9-2 in the qualifying finals.
