Malaysia's Mohd Azlan Iskandar celebrated the biggest PSA Tour title success of his career - and gave notice of his bid to take over as the Malaysian No1 - when he defeated compatriot Ong Beng Hee in the final of the CAS International at the Army Squash Complex in Peshawar, Pakistan.

The 21-year-old world No28 from Sarawak, seeded three, fought back from 1/2 down to upset Beng Hee, the second seed, 11-9 5-11 9-11 11-9 11-5 in 61 minutes and establish his first ever win over the three-times Asian Champion who has ruled the roost in men's squash in Malaysia since winning the world junior title in 1998.

Iskandar made his breakthrough in the $25,000 Peshawar event when he upset local hero Mansoor Zaman, the Peshawar-based No1 seed, in straight games in the semi-finals.

The triumph takes Iskandar's PSA Tour title tally to four, from seven final appearances. It was only four months ago that the young pretender lost to Beng Hee in four games in the semi-finals of the Asian Championships.

Final:
[3] Mohd Azlan Iskandar (MAS) bt [2] Ong Beng Hee (MAS) 11-9, 5-11, 9-11, 11-9, 11-5 (61m)
