Prince Secure English Grand Prix Title Sponsorship

Prince has extended its association as 'Official Racket' of the English Grand Prix - Birmingham 2007 to become title sponsors of the 5-star PSA Tour squash championship which will attract the world's leading players to the UK in September.

The Prince English Grand Prix will be held at the Edgbaston Priory Club and University of Birmingham from 6-9 September.

Launched by sports management company internationalSPORTgroup, the English Grand Prix will boast a $50,000 prize fund and will be supported by a full programme of masters and junior events which are expected to attract over four hundred competitors.

"This is an excellent new addition to the World Tour calendar in the UK and, having already agreed to become the tournament's official racket, I went back to promoter Paul Walters to offer Prince as the title sponsor," explained Bob Johnson, Sales and Marketing Director of Solo Sports UK Ltd, the brand's distributors in the UK.
