Egyptians On Course For Athens Final

Top-seeded Egyptians Omar Mosaad and Omar Elborolossy are on course for their predicted meeting in the final of the Life Greek Open after straightforward wins in the quarter-finals of the PSA Tour event at Athens Lawn Tennis Club in the Greek capital.

Favourite Mosaad beat Dutchman Tom Hoevenaars, the No5 seed, 11-6, 11-7, 11-4 - and will now face Italy's fourth seed Luca Mastrostefano, who needed four games to overcome English qualifier Chris Tasker-Grindley 11-3, 11-8, 4-11, 11-3.

Second seed Elborolossy, a former world No14, despatched Denmark's unseeded Morten W Sorensen 11-8, 11-2, 11-1 to set up a semi-final against No3 seed Bradley Hindle after the Australian beat Englishman Darren Lewis 11-7, 11-2, 11-5.
