Unseeded Maria Toor Pakay maintained local interest through to the last four of the Women's POF Wah Cantt Open when she overcame Pakistani compatriot Aliya Sarfraz to claim her maiden appearance in the semi-finals of a WISPA World Tour event at the Jahangir Khan Squash Centre in Wah Cantt, Pakistan.

The 15-year-old from Peshawar, winner of the Pakistan National title last year, beat qualifier Sarfraz 9-3, 9-3, 9-1 and will now face second seed Delia Arnold after the Malaysian beat South Africa's No8 seed Adel Weir 9-2, 9-2, 9-4.
