Top Seeds Reach European Quarter-Finals In Switzerland

The top eight seeds will contest the quarter-finals of the European Junior U19 Team Championships after the completion of the qualifying rounds in Langnau, Switzerland.

Germany and England are on course to meet in the final for the second year in succession - though, for the first time in more than a decade, defending champions England are not favourites.

Led by new European Junior champion Simon Rosner, No1 seeds Germany defeated Wales 3/0 to finish at the top of Pool A, whilst second seeds England beat Spain 3/0 to head Pool B.
