PSA Launches New Download Webstreaming Service

28 Mar 2006

The Professional Squash Association (PSA) is launching a new 'Download & Own' service, via its official dedicated webstreaming website www.psalive.tv, due to popular demand.

Squash fans can now download any of the matches which have been covered on www.psalive.tv since the site's launch in 2005, and watch matches off-line on their own computers on an unlimited basis. Thus PSA fans can enjoy matches from PSA World Tour events over and over again.

"This is great news for squash enthusiasts with dial-up connections, previously unable to access live streams or replays, who can now download matches to watch off-line," pointed out PSA Chief Executive Gawain Briars.

"The aim of www.psalive.tv is to make the professional game as accessible as possible by offering a level of service accessible for everyone. I am particularly pleased that many new users from around the world who are not on Broadband and only have dial-up modems will now be able to download great matches from PSA tournaments and enjoy the great coverage that PSALIVE.TV offers," said Briars.

Russell Flynn, Senior Developer on the PSALIVE.TV team, added: "We are delighted that this major new piece of work has been completed, but we are certainly not going to take our foot off the pedal and will keep responding to our members bringing new features on-line in response to feedback.

"New innovations are continually being introduced as the service and its popularity grows and this is a great new addition to the existing range of options already available, from live coverage to DVDs. We want to offer something for everyone and this new Download service will be a great benefit for PSALIVE.TV members new and old."
